You will mentor mid-level engineers, enforce testing and code quality, optimize MySQL/Redis data models, and ensure reliable performance on AWS. A strong product mindset and ownership are essential for delivering business impact.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8 years in backend engineering.
• Languages: PHP with Laravel Symfony Yii.
• Databases: Advanced skills in MySQL and Redis.
• Cloud: Solid experience with AWS (EC2 ECS RDS).
• Messaging: Familiarity with RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
• Search: Experience with Algolia or similar search engines.
• Mindset: Strong focus on product ownership and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of scalable event-driven backend services.
• Dismantle monolithic legacy app migrating logic into microservices.
• Modernize legacy backends ensuring production stability and reduced technical debt.
• Architect AI-ready APIs and services to power product roadmap.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and lead technical discussions.
