Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants in Dubai is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer 3 to own backend systems powering a high-traffic e-commerce platform. You will shape architecture, drive technical strategy, and lead multi-quarter initiatives across teams to deliver measurable business impact.

You will design Identity Services, real-time order tracking, and a secure refunds platform, while enforcing strong API security and observability across multi-region deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language with deep understanding of performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Identity Services including authentication, authorization, session management, and SSO integrations using OAuth 2.0 and JWT
• Develop and maintain account management APIs
• Build real-time order tracking services
• Architect the refunds platform across payment methods
• Implement secure, performant APIs protecting PII
• Drive cross-team coordination for order lifecycle events
• Maintain observability with logging and tracing
• Own multi-quarter, multi-team product goals
• Make independent technical decisions with business context
• Drive cross-team initiatives for broader impact
• Design software and systems to meet long-term goals
• Handle complex modules for scalability and robustness
• Simplify code and infrastructure to reduce cost
• Identify and resolve risks early
• Debug non-deterministic issues
• Champion AI-first engineering culture
• Define technical roadmap and generate team excitement
• Set and uphold quality via reviews
• Act as Culture Leader and mentor teammates
• Represent strategy to candidates
