Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced B2 Aircraft Engineer with base maintenance exposure in the United Arab Emirates. You will certify maintenance, guide Technicians, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across a diverse fleet.

Role requires strong communication and teamwork, with ability to lead in a high-standards environment. Onsite, full-time position offering competitive tax-free salary and family benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
• Minimum of 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, incl. 5+ years certifying in Base/Light Maintenance.
• Certifying experience on Etihad aircraft types (Airbus 320/330 NEO/350/380; Boeing 777/787) with valid authorization.

Responsibilities

• Certify own work and teammates' tasks per approved data and authorization scope.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time per procedures.
• Perform maintenance in compliance with health, safety and airport regulations.
• Prepare materials, tools, and documentation at shift start.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free environments to prevent FOD.
• Guide Technicians to ensure safe and effective practices.
• Conduct inspections of GSE and vehicles as required.
• Adhere to SQMM and promote safety culture within the team.
