Job summary

SALT in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on Senior DevOps / SRE to build and operate the delivery and runtime foundations for a portfolio of modern enterprise applications, workflow platforms and AI-enabled products.

This role focuses on not just infrastructure administration but close collaboration with software engineers to create reliable, secure, and automated paths from code to production, owning deployment automation, runtime reliability, observability, and operational readiness across critical

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering or cloud infra.
• Strong production experience with Azure, AWS or GCP; Azure preferred.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• IaC using Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi or equivalent.
• CI/CD using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Observability tooling and distributed-system troubleshooting.
• Secure secrets, identity and access-management patterns.
• Production incident-management experience.
• Scripting/programming in Python, Go, Bash or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment automation and runtime reliability end-to-end.
• Define secure, repeatable environments across dev, test, staging and prod.
• Manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes deployments.
• Establish logging, metrics, tracing and alerting; build health dashboards.
• Lead incident analysis and post-incident reviews; drive improvements.
• Integrate security checks into delivery pipelines and access controls.
