Job summary

DISCOVERED in Abu Dhabi invites a Senior Azure Architect to own the Azure foundation from day one. You will design core platform architecture, security posture and infrastructure as code, setting standards for cloud delivery across the org.

You’ll work hands-on with Azure networking, Terraform, and scripting, building scalable foundations for fast-growing AI teams while guiding technical direction and ensuring robust, secure cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with deep Azure expertise.
• Experience designing cloud environments from scratch and ownership of large-scale architecture.
• Strong Azure networking knowledge, including firewall configuration.
• Scripting experience in Python or Bash; IaC with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of Azure architecture across design, networking, security and automation.
• Build scalable, secure Azure foundations to support fast-growing AI and tech teams.
• Lead the cloud engineering direction, write and review Infrastructure as Code.
• Collaborate hands-on with engineers to set standards for cloud delivery.
