Job summary

Talent Arabia in the UAE is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer – AWS Focus to own AWS cloud platform architecture, automated provisioning, and enterprise DevOps infrastructure. You will design, provision, and scale core AWS services, write modular Terraform scripts, and lead container orchestration with Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate has a strong academic background in CS, hands-on AWS expertise, and a proven ability to deliver secure, highly available deployments in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and core infrastructure management.
• Proven Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform/IaC skills.
• Experience building enterprise-scale AWS environments in production.
• Strong analytical skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Lead IaC and platform automation with Terraform.
• Deploy and scale container workloads with EKS and Docker.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid releases.
• Configure VPCs, IAM, and encryption across accounts.
• Ensure high availability, security and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and cloud architects.
• Document architecture and runbooks.
