Job summary

Avanceon MEA in Dubai is seeking a Senior Application Engineer (Contractual Role) to join the Engineering SCADA department. You will develop USER REQUIREMENTS, software and hardware design specifications, and SCADA/HMI logic/scripts, while validating systems and training operators.

The role covers software/hardware design, licensing, man-hour estimation, on-site installation, and commissioning of SCADA systems in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Computer Sciences.
• 4 years of experience in AVEVA System Platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop User Requirement Specifications.
• Create detailed software and hardware design specifications.
• Design, write, implement, test and document SCADA and HMI logic/scripts.
• Develop and execute SCADA system validation/testing protocols.
• Specify and procure relevant software and licenses.
• Assist with man-hour estimation for project execution.
• Install, test and commission SCADA systems onsite.
• Deliver training to operators and engineers on SCADA systems.
