Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Automation Tester in the UAE to drive quality across web, mobile, and API platforms. The role requires hands-on expertise in UI, mobile app, and API automation with strong Selenium and Appium experience.

Responsibilities include designing test plans, executing functional and regression tests, and contributing to Agile ceremonies. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and defect tracking tools like Azure DevOps and JIRA is essential.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in automation testing.
Strong hands-on in UI, Mobile App, and API automation.
Selenium: 5+ years (Mandatory).
Appium: 2+ years (Mandatory).
Experience in API automation testing.
Exposure to AccelQ is an added advantage.
Minimum 3+ years of Website/UI and eCommerce mobile app testing (Mandatory).
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to Airline domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using automated scripts.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
