Job summary

Envision Employment Solutions seeks an Automation Test Architect to lead scalable automation across Web, Mobile, and API apps. You will design and maintain frameworks, write automated plans, and drive quality throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software testing, with hands-on Selenium (5+ yrs), Appium (2+ yrs), and API automation experience. Strong English communication is essential; Arabic or Western-market experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on test automation.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Selenium.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Appium.
• Strong experience in API automation testing.
• 3+ years testing Web/UI and eCommerce Mobile Applications.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Experience using defect management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with AccelQ is a plus.
• Airline domain experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test plans and test cases from business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using automated scripts.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure test coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and automation status updates for stakeholders.
• Promote automation best practices and mentor team members.
