Job summary

Envision Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced Automation Test Architect to lead scalable test automation for Web, Mobile and API applications. The role emphasizes hands-on testing with Selenium and Appium, driving automation strategy and quality across the lifecycle.

You will design automation frameworks, build automated plans, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring peers in best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software testing experience with strong hands-on test automation.
• 5+ years hands-on Selenium experience.
• 2+ years hands-on Appium experience.
• Strong API automation testing experience.
• 2+ years testing Web/UI and mobile apps (Web, eCommerce, Mobile).
• CI/CD pipeline design/maintenance for automated testing.
• Experience with defect management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Arabic and English fluency or international experience in Western markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API apps.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing with automated scripts.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure test coverage.

• Identify, document, and track defects using Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates.
• Mentor team members on automation standards and best practices.

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Automation Test Architect for one of our partners a global leader in consulting digital transformation technology and engineering services

Objective

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks across web mobile and API applications The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on automation testing experience strong expertise in Selenium and Appium and a proven ability to drive automation strategy improve testing efficiency and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web Mobile and API applications
• Create execute and maintain automated test plans and test cases based on business requirements
• Perform functional regression integration and system testing using automated scripts
• Collaborate with development QA and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Integrate automated testing into CI CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Identify document track and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
• Prepare test reports quality metrics and automation status updates for stakeholders
• Promote automation best practices and mentor team members on automation standards and frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Appium.
• Strong experience in API automation testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience testing Web/UI and eCommerce Mobile Applications.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and system tests.
• Experience using defect management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with AccelQ is a plus.
• Experience in the Airline domain is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• This role requires either professional fluency in both Arabic and English, or prior international work experience in a Western market (e.g. US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia).
