Job summary

AECOM seeks an experienced Senior Associate Architect to lead design and development of commercial and residential projects in Dubai, UAE. You will mentor junior architects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver architectural solutions that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong BIM skills (Revit) and CAD proficiency, deep knowledge of UAE codes, and the ability to manage budgets and timelines while maintaining quality and sustainability

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architectural design with a focus on buildings and commercial projects
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior or lead architectural role
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, and CAD platforms such as AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in architectural design principles, spatial planning, and building systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of commercial and residential building projects from inception through completion
  • Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using industry-standard tools and BIM methodologies
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to analyze project requirements and constraints
  • Develop and present design concepts and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams with clarity and professionalism
  • Ensure all designs comply with UAE building codes, international standards, and sustainability requirements
  • Oversee the work of junior architects and design staff, providing constructive feedback and mentorship to support their professional growth
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve design challenges and optimize project outcomes
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining quality standards
  • Review and quality-assure architectural deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Stay current with emerging architectural trends, technologies, and best practices in the industry

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Architect to join our dynamic architectural team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and development of innovative building projects while mentoring junior architects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
