The role is responsible for ensuring technical accuracy, cost optimization, fraud identification, and high service standards while contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Claims Assessment
- Conduct detailed inspections and technical assessments of damaged vehicles, including complex and high-value claims.
- Evaluate repair methodologies, replacement requirements, and claim admissibility in accordance with policy coverage and claims guidelines.
- Assess total loss cases and provide recommendations on settlement approach and salvage disposition.
- Review, validate, and approve repair estimates within delegated authority levels.
- Monitor repair costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality and safety.
- Negotiate repair costs and labor charges with garages and service providers.
Claims Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure assessments comply with policy terms, claims procedures, delegated authority limits, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and documentation quality.
- Support audit reviews and claims quality assurance activities.
- Identify suspicious claims patterns, inflated estimates, and potential fraud indicators.
- Escalate suspected fraud cases and support investigation activities.
- Contribute to claims leakage prevention and risk mitigation initiatives.
Recovery & Salvage Support
- Support recovery opportunities through technical validation and liability assessments.
- Coordinate with recovery teams regarding third-party recovery claims.
- Provide technical input on salvage valuation and disposal decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Build effective working relationships with garages, surveyors, assessors, service providers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to claims handlers and junior assessors.
- Resolve technical disputes and assessment-related escalations.
Customer Experience
- Ensure timely issuance of repair approvals and claims decisions.
- Support fair and transparent claim settlements.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience through professional communication and timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate survey reports, assessment records, and claim documentation.
- Monitor trends in repair costs, vehicle technologies, and market practices.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance claims efficiency and service quality.

Education, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Motor Claims Assessment, Vehicle Surveying, or Motor Claims Operations.
- Strong experience in vehicle inspection, repair estimation, total loss assessment, and repair cost control.
- Experience handling complex motor claims and interacting with garages, assessors, and repair networks.
- Sound understanding of UAE motor insurance market practices, vehicle technologies, and claims regulations.
- Experience with claims management systems and digital assessment tools preferred.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
