Job summary

BSBG (Brewer Smith Brewer Group) in Dubai seeks an experienced Architect to lead design development from concept to completion, ensuring design intent is carried through and projects meet local code requirements.

You will coordinate with sub-consultants, manage documentation, liaise with authorities, and drive quality standards across the team while supporting the Lead Architect to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ working experience in an Architectural Practice.
• Degree in Architecture from a recognised international university.
• CIAT registration preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCad and Revit.
• Self motivated and flexible.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Aiding the Lead Architect with all aspects of design development.
• Responsible for the design development of projects from concept to completion.
• Responsible for all local authority compliance and code compliance.
• Responsible for all technical detailing of the project
• Responsible for meeting the brief from an operational and functional perspective.
• Responsible for writing and collating the NBS specification under the direction of the Lead and Design Architect.
• Shared responsibility for writing and updating the brief.
• Coordination with all sub consultant packages.
• Review of all drawing packages to ensure full coordination and technical excellence is achieved prior to issue.
• Assist the design architect with sourcing suitable materials and construction systems in line with the architectural design intent

Education

Degree in Architecture from a recognised international university

CIAT registration preferred
