Job summary

Systems Limited - Middle East & Africa (Techvista) in the UAE seeks a Senior Android Developer with strong native Android experience. You will work on banking/fintech and financial-services apps, building scalable, secure mobile solutions using Kotlin/Java and Jetpack Compose.

You will contribute to architecture decisions, mentor peers, and participate in the full app lifecycle from development to production support.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Native Android Development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android SDK.
• Solid knowledge of MVVM, MVI and/or Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, ViewModel and Android Jetpack.
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp and REST APIs.
• Experience with Room / SQLite / DataStore.
• Experience with Hilt, Dagger or Koin.
• Good understanding of Unit Testing and UI Testing.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Android release management.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Experience working on production applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality native Android applications.
• Build scalable, secure and high-performance mobile apps.
• Develop modern Android interfaces using Jetpack Compose.
• Participate in architecture, technical design and decisions.
• Work through the full development lifecycle: development, testing, release and production support.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve performance, stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA and UI/UX teams.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers where required.
