Overview

Oversee and manage the development and implementation of DevOps strategies aligned with organizational goals. Establish guidelines and best practices for the DevOps function. Supervise and provide leadership to teams of engineers across multiple projects. Ensure effective project management and adherence to DevOps standards throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) initiatives. Set up evolve and govern new DevOps capabilities including the selection and onboarding of appropriate technologies and tools. Ensure projects comply with established guidelines and industry best practices. Provide expertise and guidance on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting and programming. Utilize and manage a wide range of DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). Leverage experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Azure DevOps OpenShift and Linux/Unix systems. Demonstrate strong communication collaboration problem-solving and project management skills. Oversee monitoring and logging systems (e.g. ELK Stack, Splunk) and version control (e.g. SVN).
