Job summary

Tanqeeb invites a Senior Analyst – Technology Resilience to lead design, planning, and execution of the Technology Resilience Program for a major Dubai-based client. The role requires hands-on expertise in DR, BIA, threat assessments, and runbook development.

The candidate will coordinate cross-functional resilience activities, manage stakeholders across technology and business, and maintain dashboards and reports for senior leadership. Dubai-based, 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, IT, CS or related field.
• 7–10 years total experience; 5–7 years in tech resilience, DR, BC, or risk.
• ISO 22301 and Disaster Recovery certifications required.
• Hands-on DR, resilience, and ISO 22301 implementation experience.
• Experience with NCEMA standards preferred.

We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst – Technology Resilience who will be responsible for supporting the design, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Technology Resilience Program for our client based in Dubai, which is one of the largest semi-government organizations in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
We are looking for a technology resilience professional with strong experience in technology resilience, disaster recovery, business impact analysis, resilience assessments, testing, and recovery planning. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in developing and implementing technology resilience programs, conducting business impact and threat assessments, developing recovery plans and runbooks, coordinating resilience testing and exercises, and managing stakeholders across technology and business functions.

Key responsibilities:

Design, plan, document, and implement activities under the Technology Resilience Program, including business impact analysis, threat assessments, current‑state assessments, plan and runbook development, training, and testing. Conduct Technology Business Impact Analysis in collaboration with business and technology owners, ensuring alignment with the overall Corporate Business Impact Analysis. Develop and maintain the Technology Threat & Control Landscape in collaboration with the Technology Risk team to identify key technology threats and strengthen recovery preparedness. Develop and maintain the annual Technology Resilience training and testing calendar. Facilitate and coordinate Technology Resilience exercises and planned resilience tests across applications and systems. Train system owners on effective planning and execution of resilience tests for their applications and systems. Develop and maintain Technology Disruption Management Plans covering communication, coordination, escalation, and recovery strategies for key technology threats. Facilitate and support the development of application and system runbooks and train system owners on runbook development. Conduct Technology Resilience Capability Assessments to identify gaps between recovery requirements and existing recovery capabilities. Support the delivery of the Technology Resilience annual roadmap, ensuring assigned activities and milestones are planned, coordinated, tracked, and completed on time. Facilitate quarterly meetings with the Technology Resilience Special Working Group and coordinate stakeholder activities. Prepare management presentations and reports for Business Technology, Senior Management, and Top Management as required. Maintain Technology Resilience dashboards and supporting documentation, including Share Point and reporting platforms.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.7–10 years of overall experience, with 5–7 years of relevant experience in technology resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, technology risk, or related areas. ISO 22301 and Disaster Recovery certifications are required. Hands‑on experience in disaster recovery, Technology Resilience, and ISO 22301 implementation. Experience with NCEMA standards and implementation will be highly preferred. Experience conducting Business Impact Analysis, threat assessments, resilience capability assessments, and recovery preparedness activities. Experience planning and coordinating resilience testing, exercises, training, and simulation activities. Experience working with GRC tools, risk registers, and technology risk management processes. Proficiency in MS Office, Share Point, and reporting/dashboarding tools. Experience with Tableau will be advantageous.
