Job summary

Allocation Assist in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant Physician specializing in Allergy & Immunology to lead evaluation, diagnosis and management of allergic and immunological disorders in adults. The candidate must hold or be eligible for a DoH Abu Dhabi Consultant license in Allergy & Immunology/Allergy.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
• Postgraduate training in Allergy & Immunology or relevant medical specialty.
• Recognized Board Certification/Specialist or Consultant qualification in Allergy & Immunology.
• Fellowship or advanced formal training in Allergy & Immunology is highly desirable.
• Valid DoH Abu Dhabi Consultant license/eligibility specifically in Allergy & Immunology / Allergy.
• Licensing note: Infectious Diseases / Tropical Medicine licenses are not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level assessment and management of patients with allergic and immunological disorders.
• Diagnose and manage allergic rhinitis, asthma, food and drug allergies, urticaria/angioedema, atopic dermatitis, anaphylaxis, and other disorders.
• Perform and interpret allergy investigations (skin-prick testing, specific IgE, etc.).
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
• Coordinate care with Pulmonology, Dermatology, ENT, Rheumatology, Pediatrics, and others.
• Educate patients and families on allergy prevention and emergency management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, audits, and quality improvement.
• Contribute to clinical pathways and supervise residents.
