Job summary

Virtusa Middle East FZ-LLC is seeking an experienced engineer to design, develop, and optimize AI-focused products. You will build robust full-stack applications and secure APIs, collaborating with data scientists and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in product development, strong backend/frontend skills, and hands-on with Docker/Kubernetes. Experience with Python, Rust, Golang and modern JS frameworks is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably AI products.
• Strong expertise in full-stack development (backend and/or frontend).
• Experience with Python, Rust, Golang, and modern JS frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Design and integration of secure, production-grade APIs with versioning and observability.
• Hands-on containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• AI/ML, GenAI experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust full-stack applications and APIs using modern interfaces and event-driven backends.
• Build reusable components and libraries with modern frameworks.
• Create cloud-native apps on Azure or other major cloud services.
• Optimize frontend and backend for usability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement data protection and secure authentication mechanisms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, backend engineers, and product managers to refine features.
• Work with Data Scientists to improve data quality and insights.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
