Job summary

Technieum in Dubai seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and ship AI-powered features across our product suite, working full-stack from model integration to the user facing frontend.

You will own AI/ML feature development end-to-end, integrate and fine-tune LLMs in production, and design robust APIs for reliable, secure experiences while collaborating with product and security teams. Mentor colleagues and ship clean, tested code across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Strong hands-on experience with frontend development (React/TypeScript or similar).
• Practical experience building and integrating AI/LLM-powered features in production applications.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work across the full stack, from data/model layer to UI.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a cybersecurity or security-adjacent product environment is a plus.

Job description

The Senior AI Engineer will design, build, and ship AI-powered features across Technieum products, working full-stack from model integration through to the user-facing frontend.

• Own AI/ML feature development end-to-end, from backend services and data pipelines to the frontend experiences that expose them.
• Integrate and fine-tune large language models and other AI systems into production applications.
• Design APIs and services that make AI capabilities reliable, observable, and easy to consume across the product suite.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to bring AI-driven capabilities into Technieum's cybersecurity offerings.
• Mentor other engineers on AI engineering practices and full-stack implementation quality.

Reporting to Engineering leadership, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining backend services (APIs, data pipelines, model-serving infrastructure) that power AI features.
• Building the frontend interfaces that surface AI capabilities to end users.
• Evaluating, selecting, and integrating AI/ML models and third-party AI services.
• Ensuring performance, security, and scalability of AI-powered features in production.
• Working cross-functionally with product, design, and security teams to translate requirements into shipped features.
• Writing clean, tested, maintainable code across the stack.
