Qualifications

• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering in product-focused environments.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI systems.
• Experience deploying self-hosted LLMs in private or on-prem environments without external APIs.
• Proficiency with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI or MCP-based architectures.
• Strong Python programming and scalable backend development.

Senior Agentic AI Engineer – Dubai

We’re partnering with an innovative technology organisation in Dubai that is developing advanced AI products and intelligent automation solutions.

They’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Agentic AI Engineer to design, build and deploy production‑grade AI agent systems, with a particular focus on secure, private and self‑hosted environments.

This is a role for someone who goes beyond experimenting with LLMs. You’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end AI solutions, from architecture and model deployment through to agent orchestration, application development and production operations. You’ll also contribute to the development and optimisation of commercial AI products, working closely with product and engineering teams to turn complex business requirements into scalable solutions.

Discover the Responsibilities:

• Design, build and deploy production‑grade AI agent applications using self‑hosted LLMs and modern agentic frameworks.
• Develop secure, private AI architectures with strong data isolation, access controls, encryption and auditability.
• Build end‑to‑end agent workflows that integrate with enterprise systems, internal applications and business processes.
• Develop internal tools, user portals and backend services to support AI‑powered applications and automation.
• Own the AI lifecycle across deployment, monitoring, versioning, performance optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Implement scalable infrastructure and MLOps practices using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and cloud or on‑premises environments.
• Contribute to the development, integration and optimisation of commercial AI products, balancing performance, scalability, cost and time‑to‑market.
• Work closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and measure their real‑world impact.
• Provide technical leadership, share best practices and mentor engineers while remaining actively involved in hands‑on delivery.

Discover the Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML Engineering, ideally within a product‑focused or fast‑paced technology environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience building and deploying production‑grade Generative AI and Agentic AI systems.
• Proven experience deploying self‑hosted LLMs in private or on‑premises environments without dependency on external AI APIs.
• Experience with LLMs such as LLaMA, Mistral, GPT or Claude, alongside agent frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI or MCP‑based architectures.
• Practical experience with RAG, prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, fine‑tuning techniques such as LoRA/QLoRA and model optimisation.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience building scalable AI workflows, backend services and production applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps and AI lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of secure system design, including authentication, authorisation, data isolation, encryption and audit logging.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines and handling large‑scale datasets.
• Experience deploying and optimising AI systems across on‑premises and cloud environments, with AWS exposure advantageous.
• Strong product ownership, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into production‑ready technical solutions.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related technical discipline is preferred.
