Job summary

Baker Hughes in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Advance Process and Control Delivery Manager to drive complex APC and optimization projects across LNG, fertilizers, gas processing and refining. You will lead delivery teams, advise product stakeholders, and shape AI/ML-based process optimization offerings.

The role requires a chemical engineering background, 10+ years of APC/optimization experience, and proven ability to influence senior executives while promoting safety and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.
• Experience and passion with data driven/ML based optimization models.
• Proven ability to lead technical implementation of APC/optimization projects on complex industrial processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer engagement skills.
• Business acumen and ability to influence senior-level management investments.
• Experience working with operating plants or other operational settings and with senior executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support sales teams in identifying and quantifying complex process optimization opportunities.
• Develop technical proposals for process optimization in LNG, fertilizers, gas processing, refining and olefins industries.
• Lead delivery teams during implementation ensuring technical success of the solution.
• Advise product team as SME on industry use cases, ideation and feature implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and customers to drive adoption of AI/ML-based optimization apps.
• Stay informed of industry technology and disseminate new information to Baker Hughes teams.
• Provide coaching and development of subject matter experts globally.
• Promote a safe working environment and drive quality and EHS compliance.

As a Senior Advance Process and Control Delivery Manager you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the sales teams in identifying quantifying and presenting complex process optimization opportunities to our customers.
• Developing technical proposals for process optimization in LNG fertilizers gas processing refining and olefins industry.
• Leading delivery teams during the implementation and ensuring the technical success of our solution.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in advising the product team on industry use cases ideation and feature implementation.
• Working with product managers data scientists and customers to drive the adoption of AI / ML-based process optimization applications.
• Staying informed of industry technology and innovation disseminating new technology information to the Baker Hughes engineering and services teams.
• Providing coaching technical mentoring & development of subject matter experts globally.
• Promoting a safe working environment being responsible and driving compliance quality & EHS culture in the organization.
  

To be Successful in this role you will have:

• A bachelors degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.
• Experience and passion with data driven/ML based optimization models.
• Proven ability to successfully lead technical implementation of APC and/or optimization projects on complex industrial processes.
• Effective communication interpersonal and customer engagement skills.
• Business Acumen and the ability to influence senior-level management investment decisions.
• Proven experience working with people in an operating plant or other operational setting.
• Extensive experience communicating and working with senior executive stakeholders.

Good to have:

• Expert-level knowledge of APC and optimization technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge of plant data-driven process modelling/analytics and its limitations.
• Experience with varied and complex industrial processes preferably LNG cryogenic processes syngas and/or fertilizer industries gas processing refining and olefins.
