Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations — bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Oversee retail accounting functions: inventory costing, SKU-level profitability, and store-level reporting.
- Handle VAT compliance, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review management reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
- Support the CFO in budgeting, financial controls, and system implementation (ERP/accounting tools).
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and free zone regulations (JAFZA).
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners for year-end audits and statutory filings.
Qualifications & Experience
- ACCA / CPA / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- 3–6 years of accounting experience, with mandatory background in retail, FMCG, or beauty industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and inventory accounting.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills with accuracy in reporting.
- Experience with Shopify accounting and ecommerce financial systems preferred.
- Strong English communication and documentation skills.
