Job summary

Star Services in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance Department. The role covers accounting, payroll, purchasing, and financial reporting, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with internal procedures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (B.Com or equivalent), at least 7 years in accounting and 3+ years in payroll and purchasing, and strong English communication. Arabic is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Com or equivalent)
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3+ years in payroll, benefits, accounting, and admin support
• 3 years purchasing experience incl. RFQs, statements and POs
• Strong experience with spreadsheets and ERP packages
• MS Dynamics 365 preferred
• Solid knowledge of accounting, budgeting, cost-control
• Able to analyse financial data and prepare reports

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial transactions per company policy
• Process payroll, employee benefits, and related admin activities
• Handle purchasing: RFQs, statements, POs
• Prepare financial reports, statements, budgets, projections
• Analyse financial data to support decisions
• Maintain financial records using ERP systems and spreadsheets
• Support budgeting, cost control, and planning
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures
