Role Summary

ADSO LLC is seeking an Accountant for its Dubai office, capable of managing accounts payable with broader support across general accounting functions. The role covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, revenues, and tax, along with support for analytics, MIS, and ensuring reporting requirements are met for every closing cycle (monthly, quarterly, annually).

The successful candidate will supervise core accounting activities, coordinate payroll and audit processes, and maintain strong banking relationships on behalf of the company.

Primary Duties

• Supervise and administer general accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax management.
• Monitor and follow up on accounts payable and receivable, including necessary reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly payroll preparation and facilitate the closing process.
• Foster strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing required information and documentation.
• Maintain control over balance sheet accounts through monthly reconciliations and corrective actions.
• Review accounts payable balances for accuracy and ensure clear balances.
• Manage year-end closing, audits, accruals, reserve analysis, and intercompany transactions/reconciliations.
• Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing workings for accounting treatments in accordance with IFRS.

Candidate Profile

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 3–5 years of experience in a UAE finance role, preferably with General Contracting experience; auditing experience is an advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; proficient in accounting software.
• Core Competencies: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; strong attention to detail and analytical skills; good command of English (written and spoken).
