Job summary

A luxury beachfront resort in Dubai is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of experience and strong knowledge of IFRS. This role involves coordinating audits, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Strong analytical and leadership skills are essential, along with hospitality industry experience.

Qualifications

• 8 - 10 years of relevant post qualification experience in financial reporting, audit, or compliance roles.
• Deep understanding of IFRS (mandatory) and Ind-AS (preferred).
• Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end financial reporting of the hotel investment entity.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual external audit and tax reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, manage capital calls and distributions.
• Oversee VAT, Corporate Tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Compile and analyse financial data for stakeholder presentations.
