Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our Dubai team. You will handle all aspects of accounting and financial management, including statements, ledgers, and cash flow.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and mentorship of junior staff. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with a Master’s preferred and CPA or equivalent certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred and CPA or equivalent is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior accounting role with GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review budgets and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
• Provide support for audits and tax filings.
• Mentor junior accounting staff members.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai UAE As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial management for our company

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
