Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Dubai is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage the company's and clients' accounting needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in UAE and relevant certifications. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports and managing VAT filings. Strong proficiency in MS Office and accounting software, particularly Tally ERP, is required. This is a full-time position in the accounting department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with requisite degrees and certifications from home country or UAE.
• 5 years UAE experience in accounting, auditing or consulting.
• Completed ACCA certification papers or CA or CMA.

Job description

Typical roles and responsibilities will be accounting auditing bookkeeping data entry stock & inventory control reconciliation preparation of all kinds of accounting and financial reports bank relationships VAT calculations registration deregistration return filing etc. The role is consistent of dual responsibility in terms of handling our own company accounting requirements as well as servicing our clients accounting finance and taxation requirements. Deal with multiple parties clients and a variety of sectors backgrounds.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant who has the relevant BA and Masters degrees and certifications either from his home country or UAE ideally both if possible.
• Has 5 years experience in UAE in auditing accounting or management consulting firms
• Completed the ACCA certification papers or CA or CMA
• Experience handling portfolio of clients
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced level MS Office programs including MS Outlook and Tally ERP knowledge is a must
