Our client, a leading Real Estate Developer, is seeking a Senior Accountant (or an experienced General Accountant ready for the next step) to join their growing finance team. The role requires a strong foundation in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance, with an emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and review Sales & Purchase entries, balance sheet accounts, and ensure monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities with precision and timeliness.
  • Manage bank, intercompany, and account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies effectively.
  • Provide audit support by preparing schedules, documentation, and variance analysis.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and VAT regulations.
  • Support tax compliance activities, including preparation of VAT filings and related reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain cost control and expense accuracy aligned with budgets.
