Job description

Context and Environment

Requires SAP & Accounting knowledge for day‑to‑day activities, responding to external (suppliers) and internal requests, and a solid understanding of the supplier chain process. Expertise in fixed assets capitalization is essential.

Responsibilities

General Ledger

• Maintain proper 4xxxx accounts analysis, aging, and clearing follow‑up.
• Support the controlling team on class 4 accounts reconciliation and follow‑up.
• Reconcile TERDME capitalized COD accrual vs. assets CO CAPEX COD.
• Cooperate with the controlling team to ensure proper provisions, impairment and accurate booking of general accruals.
• Cooperate with the controlling team to clean any unnecessary general accruals.
• Support the tax team for essential analysis and VAT accounts clearing.
• Prepare CAP files, fill the CAP for required entities, and reconcile with the reporting dashboard.
• Intercompany monthly reconciliation.
• Foreign exchange monthly reevaluation.
• IFR16 assessment, calculations and schedule preparations.
• Prepare free zone financial statements.

Fixed Assets

• Reconcile assets with the operation team.
• Contribute to the assets stock count.
• Maintain and update clean work‑in‑progress assets.
• Submit monthly capex analysis to the controlling team.
• Reconcile carry‑forward balances.
• Cooperate with the controlling team to record essential accruals.
• Submit to external auditors for all fixed assets and depreciation analysis.

Accounts Payable Overseeing

• In charge of updating its procedure.
• Oversee correct booking in SAP and all documentation.
• Manage the whole payable cycle and ensure controls are well established.
• Attend to auditors for all accounts‑related queries.
• Post all monthly accruals and reversals as required by the controlling team.
• Maintain proper accounts payable aging.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or higher degree with 10 years or more experience in accounting, auditing and fiscal domains.
• Professional experience: financial accounts, accounts reconciliations – accounts statements.
• SAP knowledge/experience.
• Inter‑personal and communication skills, team player, dedicated, flexible and self‑motivated.
• Finance business partnering mindset with an excellent analytical reasoning and problem‑solving.
• Good command of English language.
