About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the full accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, VAT and Corporate Tax filings, and liaising with banks for financial facilities and transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash flow records.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Handle VAT filings and ensure timely and accurate submission as per local regulations.
  • Prepare and submit Corporate Tax returns, ensuring compliance with government requirements.
  • Manage and maintain bank relationships; handle bank facilities, loan documentation, and other financial instruments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Monitor general ledger accounts and ensure proper journal entries and adjustments.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure data integrity and minimize risk.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
