The Finance Team

Navigating the Numbers: Our Finance team dive deep into data, strategising every dollar to fuel growth and maximise our returns

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support our finance team in maintaining best accounting practices.

🚀What you’ll do:

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team and will be primarily responsible for the preparation of the financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and preparing the calculation of tax payments and returns. Ultimately providing us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.

This is a hands‑on role hence your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
  • Audit financial transactions and documents.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.
👀 What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, ideally from the fintech or finance sector.
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external auditors for annual audit.
  • Experience with accounting software Dynamics 365 Business Centre is mandatory.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, regulated company experience is preferred.
  • Advanced MS office skills.
  • Experience with general ledger functions.
  • Advanced business communication skills both written and verbal, Arabic is definitely a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree.
  • English fluency is assumed, Arabic is a big plus.
