Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
  • Assist in budgeting and strategic financial planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
