Job summary

Actemium Sharjah, part of Vasundhara Automation & Engineering Services (VINCI Energies group), seeks an experienced Automation System Engineer to deliver ABB System 800xA, AC800M, SCADA/DCS, and Substation Automation projects from design through FAT, commissioning, and handover. You will work on IEC 61850, industrial networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, and migrations.

The role requires hands-on integration of IEDs, relays, PLCs, RTUs, gateways, and third‑party systems, plus leading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics Engineering.
• 5–8 years in industrial automation with SCADA/DCS or substation automation.
• At least 3 years with ABB 800xA and AC800M; end-to-end ABB 800xA project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and commission ABB System 800xA, AC800M, S800 I/O, controllers, servers, networks, and redundant architectures.
• Develop control logic, interlocks, sequences, libraries, I/O databases, backups, and engineering records.
• Develop operator displays, faceplates, alarms, events, trends, historian interfaces, and access control.
