Job summary

Nature Based Solutions Group is seeking a Senior A/B Test Statistical Validation Specialist for a 100% remote role based in the United Arab Emirates. You will oversee statistical design, validation, and interpretation of controlled experiments, ensuring methodological soundness and actionable business insights across teams.

You will review experimental designs, assess power and sample size, validate randomization and analysis methods, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical

Qualifications

• Degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or related field.
• Significant experience in statistical analysis and experimentation.
• Proficiency with Python or R and SQL for data analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate statistical frameworks for A/B tests and experiments.
• Review hypotheses, success metrics, outcomes, and guardrail metrics.
• Assess sample size, power, effect size, and test duration.
• Validate randomization, treatment allocation, and control integrity.
• Evaluate assumptions, distributions, and variances.
• Apply appropriate tests, confidence intervals, and significance levels.
• Identify bias sources and data quality issues.
• Review data for missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
• Compare frequentist and Bayesian approaches as needed.
• Validate multiple testing, sequential analyses, and early stopping.
• Investigate inconclusive results and propose corrective actions.
• Review analysis code and reproducibility standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, engineers, and business teams.
• Communicate limitations and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Develop standardized validation procedures and quality controls.
