Job summary

ithr technologies is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to join its Private 5G Security Operations Center in the UAE. You will lead in-depth investigations, drive incident response, and perform advanced analysis of threats impacting 4G/5G networks, strengthening the security posture for clients and the company.

You will mentor junior analysts, develop SIEM/SOAR use cases, collaborate with network, IT, and OT teams, and ensure continuous 24/7 SOC coverage through rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information security (or related field).
• 4–8+ years of SOC/cybersecurity or telecom security experience.
• Strong TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching and network security knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with 4G/5G technologies and related security risks.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Experience with Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and analysis of escalated security incidents from SOC Level 1 analysts.
• Perform advanced threat detection, correlation, and root cause analysis across 4G/5G environments.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting within telecom and Private 5G environments.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts to identify attacks and breaches.
• Develop and tune SIEM use cases, detection rules, and alerts.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to SOC L1 analysts.
• Coordinate incident response activities including containment and recovery.
• Prepare incident reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with network, IT, and OT teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Identify security gaps and suggest improvements to SOC processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and telecom standards.
• Support 24/7 SOC operations, including shift rotations.
