Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information security, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional information security experience.
• Experience in risk management, information security, security operations, and security reviews.
• Must hold one of CISSP, CISM, or CISA; additional certifications such as CRISC or CCSP are desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Security Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s information security strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Advanced Risk Management: Perform in-depth risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate complex security risks; develop risk management frameworks.
• Incident Management: Oversee incident response processes; coordinate with external agencies for major investigations as needed.
• Security Architecture: Design and implement advanced security architectures; embed security in IT system design and deployment.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Mentor junior security staff and foster continuous learning.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST; lead security audits with external auditors.
• Third-Party Management: Evaluate security posture of vendors; mitigate third-party risks.
• Threat Intelligence: Lead threat intelligence efforts to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Collaboration with Executives: Work with CISO and executives to align security with business goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and adoption of new security technologies.
