Job summary

EDGE seeks a Security Researcher to conduct hands‑on security assessments of IT products, embedded systems, firmware, hardware devices, and software solutions. You will perform vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and attack‑based evaluations to identify weaknesses and assess security risks.

You will work with senior researchers to execute testing activities and document results. In this role you will stay current with threats and testing methodologies, contribute to risk‑based security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications like CEH, OSCP or similar are valued.
• Awareness of ISO/IEC 17025 and security evaluation processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform security evaluations of software, firmware, embedded systems, hardware devices, and IT products.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, reverse engineering, and logical attack assessments.
• Execute software and hardware security testing activities including firmware analysis.
• Support Side‑Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI) testing.
• Document testing results and contribute to risk‑based conclusions.
