Job summary

Paramount Assure in Dubai seeks a cybersecurity professional with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in security operations and security engineering to implement, monitor and optimize security across customer environments.

You will support incident response, vulnerability management and security compliance initiatives, deploy and manage SIEM, firewall, VPN and cloud security solutions, and collaborate with customers to provide technical security guidance and maintain runbooks and reports.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA/CCNP Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or Microsoft Security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and manage network, endpoint, cloud, and email security solutions.
• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and investigate potential threats.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and remediation tracking.
• Support incident response activities including investigation, containment and recovery.
• Implement and maintain security best practices, policies and standards.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide security guidance and recommendations.
• Prepare security reports, documentation and runbooks.
• Assist with security audits, compliance requirements and security framework implementation.
