Job summary

Emirates Group is seeking a Security Coordinator to join the Group Security team in Dubai, supporting operational security and ensuring compliance with the Security Policy, the ASP, and SEMS.

You will collate, analyse and report irregularities, liaise with authorities, train staff, and maintain documentation to safeguard Emirates Group operations. A minimum of 3 years in security and 12 years schooling are required, with day and night shifts expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security experience.

• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collate, record, analyse and assist in investigating irregularities that may result in non-conformity of the Security Policy.
• Access information on inadmissible passengers and coordinate actions with flights, accommodation and authorities.
• Perform travel documents checks on flights and conduct behavioural analysis of passengers to prevent illegal immigration.
• Liaise with authorities e.g. immigration, embassies and police to prevent inadmissible carriage.
• Support staff training to detect and intercept illegal immigration.
• Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes and keep them up to date.
• Contribute to review of SOPs, contracts and other documents affecting operations.

Job Purpose

Join our Group Security team where you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security across the Emirates Group. Our diverse security units include Security Training Group Security Command Centre Hub Ops Unit Crime Prevention amp Investigation Unit Threat amp Risk Assessment Unit Aviation Security Assurance unit and Business Support Unit all working together to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.

Role

As a Security Coordinator in the Group Security team you will provide support for operational security matters to ensure compliance with security policies, the Airline Security Program ASP and the Security Management System SEMS.

• Collate record, analyse and assist in investigating, alerting and reporting all irregularities that may result in the non-conformity of the organization's Security Policy.
• Access information on inadmissible passengers and decide necessary action keeping relevant departments informed which include coordination of flights, accommodation, deportation reports, liaising with the relevant authorities etc.
• Perform travel documents check on assigned flights and conduct behavioural analysis of all passengers to prevent acts of illegal immigration and unlawful interference.
• Liaise with the relevant Authorities e.g. immigration, embassies and the police throughout the network to prevent the carriage of inadmissible passengers.
• Support in the training of staff of Emirates and Ground Handling Agents to increase awareness of detecting and intercepting illegal immigration.
• Maintain documents, manuals and records for auditing purposes, ensuring they are kept up to date.
• Contribute in the review of standard operating procedures, contracts and other relevant documents that have an impact on operations.

Qualifications

• Have completed 12 years of schooling or equivalent qualification.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in security or a related field.
• Be able to communicate effectively and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be willing to work on a shift roster including day and night shifts in line with operational requirements.
