Job Summary:

Based in Abu Dhabi, this role will cover key franchise and prospect names in the MENA region. The Platform Sales Manager is responsible for actively managing client strategic relationships and profitability, understanding client needs, increasing prospecting for new clients, developing incremental sales revenue, cultivating and broadening client intimacy, creating strong references, and presenting and developing appropriate product solutions. This is done in accordance with client retention and incremental sales plans.

A Sales Manager supports the firm's sales strategy and collaborates with areas such as client service management, product management, operations, technology, risk, credit, and legal to optimize product and service delivery. They act as the principal point of contact with the client, representing J.P. Morgan on day-to-day commercial and contractual issues, and must advocate for clients within the firm. Building internal and external strategic selling networks is key to success. The role requires mastery of all aspects of direct selling (including virtual), developing relationships for lead generation. Additionally, establishing solid partnerships with other JPMorgan Chase businesses to identify and close cross-sell opportunities, such as corporate cards, is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Managing all aspects of the client relationship
  • Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through product development and cross-selling CIB products, maintaining and growing the existing book
  • Owning all legal and commercial negotiations under the supervision of the Lead Sales Manager
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of clients' business strategies and objectives, ensuring J.P. Morgan contributes to fulfilling those objectives
  • Preparing briefing notes and working with global colleagues to compile a global view of relationships where appropriate
  • Contributing to the revenue targets of the line of business through growth across the client portfolio
  • Developing strategies for prospect penetration, including thorough research of potential clients
  • Creating sales plans, playbooks, and calling schedules
  • Collaborating with other bank partners across lines of business to seek introductions to prospects
  • Managing client financials, including close monitoring of run rates and liaising with Business Management and Product Controllers
  • Using MY Revenue tool to create revenue estimates and projections, and generating global reports
  • Owning all team Scribe deals, ensuring approval and forecast management, and presenting deals in the New Deal Approval Forum
  • Monitoring quarter-end cash balances and liaising with Client PMs and Head of Cash Management to maintain appropriate balances
  • Working with Client Service Management, Product Management, and Operations groups to drive product development and address gaps
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Proven sales record preferred or previous roles with a client-facing component
  • Experience in sales and relationship management within a financial services organization
  • Relevant market client segment experience (Asset Managers/Asset Owners) and Securities Services products
  • Effective interpersonal and people skills
  • Degree-level education or equivalent
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Availability to travel at least 25%
