Job summary

KBR, Inc. through AFCAP V program delivers Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services (SWA TAS) to support U.S. and Coalition forces.

The TAS Technician conducts aircraft ground handling, marshaling, parking, and servicing in austere, 24/7 environments, ensuring safety and compliance with PWS and technical orders. Responsibilities include aircraft arrival/departure services, servicing, turn-around operations, and coordination with supervision and airfield management.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, or Transient Aircraft Services.
• Hands-on experience working on a flight line or in aircraft ground operations.
• FAA A&P certification or equivalent military experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with flight line safety, ground support equipment, and tool control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO Harm workplace by adhering to flight line safety requirements and PPE.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, and positioning per Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute aircraft arrival and departure services including chocking and grounding.
• Conduct aircraft servicing for turn-around and mission readiness.
• Assist in launch and recovery operations with Supervisors and Airfield Management.
• Inspect and service equipment; maintain tool accountability and conduct routine inspections.
• Support flight line safety programs, including FOD prevention and safety directives.
