ANZUK Education in Sharjah, UAE, seeks a Secondary Science Teacher with a Physics specialty to join an expanding international school starting January 2027 (or sooner). The role focuses on delivering the Australian (Victorian) curriculum to middle and senior students across a growing K-12 pathway.

Ideal candidates hold a teaching qualification with registration (e.g., VIT, QTS) and have 2+ years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in education or a relevant teaching subject.
• Valid teaching licence and current registration (e.g. VIT, QTS) preferred.
• 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range.
• Experience with the Australian Curriculum is advantageous but not essential.
• Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students.

Secondary Science Teacher (preferably Physics specialist) required for excellent international school in Sharjah, UAE for Jan 2027 or earlier!

The Role

You will be teaching Science at secondary level with a particular focus on Physics, including middle and senior school grades through the Australian curriculum. Currently the school is only up to Grade 11, but growing with every year to be a full K-12 school in the near future.

Requirements

• Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject
• Valid teaching licence and current registration (e.g. VIT, QTS) preferred
• 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range
• Experience with the Australian Curriculum is advantageous but not essential
