Reach British School Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding English Teacher for August 2026. The role focuses on delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England and developing students’ reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.

The successful candidate will differentiate instruction, provide effective feedback, and use data to inform planning while collaborating with parents and colleagues to support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two years’ full-time teaching experience in the UK or a British Curriculum school.
• Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current assessment practices.
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage students.
• Experience using data systems, student tracking, intervention strategies and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Develop reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary and analytical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to challenge all learners, including EAL students.
• Provide formative and summative feedback and write reports per policy.
• Incorporate SMSC and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Engage parents and manage resources effectively.
• Plan homework and use assessment data to inform planning.
• Foster a love of reading across diverse texts and genres.
