Job summary

Dubai Holding seeks a skilled Scrum Master to drive agile delivery across multiple AI product squads. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and maintain backlog readiness, enabling teams to achieve sprint goals.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Scrum Master or Agile Delivery roles.
• Experience in AI, data, or digital product environments preferred.
• CSM or PSM certification required.
• SAFe or equivalent enterprise agile certification is a plus.

Dubai Holding is seeking to hire a Scrum Master at its corporate office, reporting to the Director – AI Product Lead. The role holder will act as Scrum Master across multiple AI product squads, each led by a Product Manager, helping teams deliver against defined objectives by removing impediments, improving effectiveness, and ensuring clear visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies. Product priorities and delivery outcomes will remain the accountability of the Product Managers.

The role holder is expected to embed agile best practices across cross-functional squads, facilitate efficient execution, and maintain a consistent delivery cadence of AI-enabled agentic digital products. This will require an understanding of how AI-driven capabilities — including agentic workflows and automation — affect sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery patterns.

These efforts will support the adoption and scaling of a product-led delivery model across Dubai Holding.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Delivery Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives), ensuring they are efficient and outcome-focused
• Support squads in defining clear sprint goals and maintaining delivery cadence
• Ensure backlog readiness and alignment with sprint objectives

Delivery Flow & Impediment Resolution

• Identify and remove blockers that impact squad delivery
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve cross-functional issues
• Escalate systemic impediments affecting delivery timelines

Delivery Visibility & Performance Tracking

• Maintain visibility of sprint progress, delivery cadence, and key metrics (e.g. velocity, completion rate)
• Track and communicate risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
• Support Product Managers and AI Product Lead with accurate delivery insights

Cross-Squad Coordination

• Identify and manage dependencies across squads
• Ensure alignment across engineering, data, and business teams
• Support smooth coordination of cross-functional delivery activities

Continuous Improvement & Agile Adoption

• Drive team retrospectives and ensure follow-through of improvement actions
• Promote consistent agile practices and ways of working across squads
• Encourage a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning within squads, providing coaching as needed
• Contribute to scaling agile delivery practices as the product organization grows

Who we are looking for:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Roles
• Experience facilitating delivery in AI, data, or digital product environments is preferred
• Experience with digital first organizations is preferred (FAANG, digital scale-ups)
• Coaching and developing cross-functional squad members and product managers

Education / Professional Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (IT, Business, Engineering)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required
• SAFe or equivalent enterprise agile certification is a plus

Technical Competencies:

• Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Delivery tracking and backlog management tools (e.g. Jira)
• Managing dependencies in multi-squad environments
• Understanding of product-led delivery models
• Awareness of AI-enabled / agentic delivery patterns
• Facilitation and coaching techniques

Behavioral Competencies

• Strong facilitation and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams
• Ability to influence and drive alignment without formal authority
• Strong execution focus, ensuring delivery commitments are met
