Job summary

Astra Tech in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Scrum Master to drive agile delivery across cross-functional product and engineering teams focused on consumer technology and communication platforms.

As a servant leader, you will coach teams, remove blockers, and ensure high-quality software on time while aligning with regulatory and compliance needs in fintech delivery, with hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in agile software development environments.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent agile certification.
• Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with distributed or cross-functional teams.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using delivery metrics to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure clear prioritization and alignment of sprint goals.
• Remove blockers, manage dependencies, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
• Ensure adherence to agile principles and best practices across teams.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
• Track and analyze sprint metrics (velocity, burn-downs, cycle time) to help teams improve efficiency and predictability.
• Guide teams in adopting agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and techniques that best fit fintech product cycles.
• Collaborate closely with compliance, security, and data teams to ensure agile delivery.
• Support multiple squads working on communications, AI, platform, customer service and experience
• Coach and mentor team members and stakeholders in agile mindset and practices.
