Al Basma seeks a Science Teacher with a Physics specialism and A-level experience to join its successful Secondary Science team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will show a genuine commitment to creating an inspiring and stimulating child‑centred learning environment. Teachers will be highly motivated exemplary practitioners with a deep understanding of personalised learning. Candidates should be committed to ongoing school improvement and comfortable in a climate of innovative and creative development.

Applicants must hold one of the following sets of qualifications. All documents must be attested for the UAE prior to arrival:

• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Y7 to 13 Science Education with Chemistry specialism and QTS or equivalent, or


• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject and an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Science with Chemistry specialism and QTS or equivalent, or


• An internationally recognised Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with an internationally recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Science with QTS or equivalent and two years of experience teaching Secondary Chemistry.

Two supporting references, including from the most recent employer, and a police clearance certificate (ACRO or DBS) no more than three months old must be provided by successful applicants.
