• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field with a teaching qualification
• Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is preferred
• Commitment to educating the whole child and high professionalism
• Engagement in extra-curricular activities and safeguarding awareness

Responsibilities

• Assist academy in achieving its overall vision and strategic intentions
• Ensure health and safety compliance and equal opportunities
• Contribute to performance management processes and staff development
• Participate in annual safeguarding and child protection training
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and learning objectives
• Set challenging tasks and provide differentiation to meet student needs
• Utilise assessment data to inform planning and monitor progress
• Prepare informative reports for parents and support academy improvement plans
