Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Laboratory Assistant/Technician, preferably in an educational environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices, equipment maintenance, chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; MS Office skills.

Job Purpose

To provide efficient technical and administrative support to the Science Department by preparing laboratories for practical lessons, maintaining laboratory equipment and resources, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting teachers and students in the safe delivery of practical science activities. The role contributes to creating a safe, organised, and effective learning environment for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.

Skills Description
