Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking a Facilities & General Services Manager to lead the delivery of facilities and services across the school campus in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes a service culture, safety, and cost-effective operations within a large educational environment.

The successful candidate will oversee maintenance, procurement, housing, and central services, ensuring high standards and compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma / degree of higher education; or
• Certificate of Facilities Management / NEBOSH or IOSH preferable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver facilities and general services across the School, ensuring a service culture and efficient resource deployment.
• Maintain school facilities to high standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety, coordinating support service teams.
• Oversee staff housing in line with policy and allowances; manage procurement and contracting per budget and policies.
• Ensure essential central services (catering, security, maintenance, cleaning, transport, waste disposal) are planned and resourced.
• Oversee site security, daily site checks, and compliance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Act as Incident Commander when required and liaise with Aldar Education HQ for protocols.
