Job summary

Dubai American Academy seeks an outstanding Facilities Supervisor to join our team from October 2026. The successful candidate will oversee contractor and vendor work, event bookings, daily campus operations, and health and safety compliance to support seamless learning in a major UAE international school.

The role requires coordinating with maintenance, security, IT and catering teams, ensuring readiness of venues for events and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Contractor and vendor supervision: Inspect works across the campus, verify progress, maintain a works tracker, coordinate access and deadlines, monitor maintenance and services, review reports.
• Event bookings and venue preparation: Manage bookings, resolve clashes, coordinate with teams, supervise setup, readiness checks, arrivals, and post-event wrap-up.
• Daily campus operations and maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, log defects, track repairs and maintenance, coordinate staff, support moves and stock records.
• Health and safety and safeguarding: Enforce safety procedures, check inductions and permits, monitor access, support drills and safeguarding reporting.
• Records and reporting: Keep inspection checklists and logs, provide updates to Facilities Manager, raise service requests with details.
